Match Report

Stemps was the venue for the last match of the 24/25 session on what was to be a very bright but breezy day, we pegged all around the pond using the pegs with better form. From the start a few Carp could be seen moving around in the upper layers enjoying the sun.

Bearing this in mind Keith on Peg 13 set up a pellet waggler and had 2 early carp but they then moved around to the area between pegs 1 & 15 and all he had after that was a few bits and one nice Perch of about 1Ib from the reeds.

Nick on Peg 1 found it hard going but in the end had 4 carp and a nice net of small silver fish.

Graham on Peg 15 had a slow start but a switch to the feeder using both bread and maggot saw a steady flow of Carp for the rest of the match.
