Match Report

Stemps pond was the venue for what turned out to be a very hard match and I am not sure if that was down to the amount of rain we had in the past few days or the number of cormorants that flew off the water when we got there.

We had a quick walk round to sort out the pegs and found peg 14 was missing all its boards which was disappointing as its one of the better pegs anyway we pegged all the way round the pond giving everyone a bit of space.

With far too much colour for dobbing to work almost everyone started on the bomb or feeder to the island with very little or no results. As the day went on switching and changing between the pole line and the rod brought a few fish came to the net.
