Match Report

Yet another wet day was forecast (what a surprise)! Given the amount of rain we have had over the past few weeks the ground around the Match Pond was very soft so we considered fishing the Middle Pond. However, with the very strong wind we decided that we would stick with the Match Pond. It turned out to be a very hard day made worse by the weather. The water was flowing through making the pond like a river with the amount of  water coming in from the fields at the top end but it gave the water a good colour.

At least during the weigh-in, the rain stopped for around 15 minutes but it was clear that bites had been hard to come by with only two people weighing in: Gary had two bites and Keith had four, two of which were very small Rudd.
