Match Report

Back to Hurston Lane but this time on the Middle Pond on what was a very warm sunny day.
The pond looks lovely at the moment and the Carp could be seen following each other around getting ready to spawn. We used every peg, the pegs at the Tench Pond end were clear of any floating blossom and they looked the best but as it turned out they fished the worst with both peg 1 and 2 blanking.
The rest of the lake was patchy with one or two bites and then nothing for a long time. We did see some nice Bream along with a mix of the older Carp and the new stock.
