We had our normal high turnout for our first Petworth Park match of the season and we were pegged all along the road side and right round to past the two islands. With this number of anglers the Bream tend to back off and a feeder cast of 60 – 80yds was required to find them. A man who is well versed in long distance feeder fishing is Jon Arnold and he proved from his peg just before the 2nd big tree with a top weight of 35lb 7oz. Mike Kitchener was pegged just before the first big tree and his 22lb 5oz easily secured second place. Gary Collins was further round just before the first island and was third with 12lb 4oz.
