Match Report
A full house for our first match at lower lake this year on an overcast warm day with little breeze.
We pegged all the way around to the 2nd island but even so some of the pegging was a little tight. Looking around at the start it seemed that about half of us had opted to fish the pole with the others going out on the feeder, some fishing short and 1 or 2 blasting out into the middle.
Kevin on the concrete block was the first to get a Bream on the feeder closely followed by Keith in the next peg along who had 3 within about 5 minutes on the short pole and then Graham on the first Oak tree again on the pole had a good run with the others all picking up the odd fish.
Come the weight in John who was round by the first island and out of sight had put a good net of Bream together for 37lb to win the match.
Hot on his heels was Graham with 36lb 3oz for second place.
A couple of fish behind with 29lb 14oz was Keith in third place.
