A nice day was on the cards following the mad weather we had seen over the past week.

We pegged down both sides of the lake letting the chaps on one side draw a partner from the other.

It was a little slow; not many small Rudd were showing, but using a bigger bait gave better results. We had a good mix of fish at the weigh-in with Skimmers and Bream, Tench, Eels and some Carp making up the better bags.
