Match Report

A very nice day for the time of year was on the cards with light wind and sunshine. A big thank you to the Wednesday team for making sure the swims were weed free so we could use the whole lake.

Mick fishing peg 1 the golden peg fished the pole on 2 lines and managed to catch F1s and Carp along with some of the new small F1s for most of the match. His 26lb 4oz was enough to easily win the match

Second, third and fourth were very tight with just a few ounces between them

Gary drew peg 12 which looked very nice with one of the new platforms. He lost a few fish in the  fallen tree between pegs 11 & 12 but again had some nice F1s. His 14lb 8oz just gave him second place.

Just behind was Graham who drew peg 8 and fished the pole to the pads to his left and after a very slow start found Carp and F1s in the afternoon. His 14lb 6oz was just enough for third place.

An ounce behind Graham on 14lb 5oz was Steve Penticost who had to be content with 4th place.
