Match Report

A good turnout on a damp and dull morning for a visit to the Granary and the lake looked really nice following the heavy rain and thunderstorms of the past few days, we had a hint of autumn with a few fallen leaves on the water. We pegged down both sides with one peg on the end nearest to the farm

From the start it looked like the golf club side was going to fish better with Cody and Mark both catching Carp from the start but only the smaller ones. With around 2 hours to go Carp had started to come to everyone apart from Richard in peg 4 who had only had one Carp bite that resulted in a lost fish in the bushes to his left.

At the weigh in it was obvious that it was a two man battle. With Keith and Mark close on weights

With 47lb 14oz Keith came out the victor, Mark was not far behind with 41lb 10oz and Steve Worth took thirdplace with 29lb 7oz
