Match Report

A warm and still morning greeted us at the Lower Pond Petworth. The water level was a good two feet down, meaning pegging was more difficult with some having to get down into the water.
From the start, the bream were active, and a few of us had fish in the net within the first half-hour. The first three pegs saw the best action, but after a couple of hours peg 4 joined in. As in the other matches at the park this year the bigger fish seem to be few and far between. Lots of fish around 2 lb were showing, and we also saw a few Tench during this match.

Across the two legs of the pairs competition Cody and Barry were top with 31points.
