Match Report

Stemps Pond was the destination for this club match, and a fine mild morning greeted us. After a hard slog getting the gear across the water logged field at the end of the path we pegged all around the lake.

At the start things got off to a flying start with both Mick in peg 8 and Gary in peg 14 having carp on there first cast and within the first 15 minutes everyone had at least one carp in the bag.

The forecast rain moved in at around 10.30 and this was very heavy and slowed things right down and then the wind got up and made things even harder but both Mick and Keith managed to keep a few fish coming to the net.
