Match Report
Due to illness, holidays, work and family plans we had a very poor turn out for this match and after looking at the pond this was a good thing. The water was very clear with half the pegs covered in fallen leaves and duck weed after the strong winds from the 2 days before.
We pegged both sides from the middle of the lake down.
Keith having drawn peg 7 the golden peg decided to fish 3 lines 2 with a little ground bait one at 5m the other a 14m towards peg 8 and the 3rd was going to be dobbing into the gaps on the island in front of him. Keith found no bigger fish but had Roach, Rudd and small F1s all day on his short ground bait line
Richard on peg 10 concentrated on fishing under the willow to his left. He was the only one to find any bigger fish, but only 2 one small Carp and a larger F1,
Gary on peg 5 did a ground bait line down the track and a dobbing line to the island, but struggled throughout the match.
