Match Report

A very wet and wild morning greeted us on our arrival at the car park and I think for this reason we had a very low turn out for this one. As it happened, by the time we made the draw at 8am the rain had stopped and the wind dropped and it turned out to be a nice day with Gary saying at one point we may need sun cream.

As for the fishing it was better than we expected as not only the small silvers came out to play, the Carp seemed happy to feed in the areas with a little cover with Keith hooking one on his first put in on a number 5 elastic that was soon lost down the lake. At the other end of the lake Cody being Cody had set out from the start to try and catch Carp and had 3 in the net within the first hour. Come the weigh in it had turned into a two horse race between Keith and Cody but you can only have one winner.
